Sure. I think that could be the case if the publishing model was directed toward organizations who have individuals employed in the act of trading and the organizations are in support of the use of Twitter as a real-time tool to assist in the workflow. But in that example, as I am not a trader, I don't know if the information provided to me in a tweet would be sufficient for me to use to make a real-time decisions. I think we are far from that scenario today. Or I could be an individual using such a service to make my own investing decisions. I just think it would be awhile before the individual who wants this service, for that purpose, will demand it.

I picked up your blog through a search for twitter tools. Now that you have an iPhone I highly recommend Tweetie as a twitter app on it.

Also, I was part of just building a service called http://www.tweetthistext.com that might be of interest to you. After an easy set up you'll be able to highlight text on any page and quote it in a tweet. If you're signed in to twitter already you'll only have to click twice to do this.

We thought it would be great to have so we built it. Maybe you'll think the same.

Cheers.

Thanks for the shot out on being 'funny'.

I'm scared that we had so many things to laugh about during a VP debate: 3rd graders, maverick, joe six pack, etc.

Can you imagine how drunk you'd be if you played a "maverick" drinking game?

I think that that Tiny Fey (SNL) said it best:

"I want to be done playing this lady Nov. 5," she said. "So if anybody can help me be done playing this lady Nov. 5, that would be good for me."
